Analytics data: We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how people use Emotiva. These services may collect session recordings, click patterns, page views, and other behavioral data.

Advertising data: For users on the free tier, we use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, usage data, and other information to serve relevant advertisements.

Other personal information: We may collect additional personal information as needed to operate and improve the service, including but not limited to IP addresses, browser or app identifiers, and interaction data.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Emotiva service
• Display your mood history, streaks, and insights
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features and fix issues
• Serve relevant ads to free-tier users through Google AdMob
• Generate aggregated insights and analytics from user data as we reasonably determine to be appropriate for improving our products and services

By using Emotiva, you grant Piqos LLC permission to store, process, and analyze your data for the purposes described in this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Access controls are enforced so that you can only access your own data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Emotiva uses the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google Analytics — usage and session analytics
• Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps
• Google AdMob — ad serving for free-tier users

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

• Access your data — your mood entries and goals are visible in the app
• Delete your account and all personally identifiable data through the app settings. Anonymized or aggregated data that is not linked to your identity may be retained.
• Opt out of notifications at any time via your device settings

Emotiva is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Both the Emotiva website and mobile app use tracking technologies — including cookies, SDKs, and similar tools — through services such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These are used to collect usage data, session information, and behavioral patterns to help us understand and improve the service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app or through other reasonable means. Continued use of Emotiva after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
